• Christ In Our Home  for July through September, 2010, is available in the Narthax and church office.
• Flowers are needed for the following Sundays:  October 31, November 28
• Corner Table Book Donation  If you have any unwanted books that you woild like to donate to The Corner Table, Gail Cranford will be happy to pick them up from the church office and deliver them to the folks that come to eat there.  Free books are another way to nourish the soul as well as the mind.  Plastic grocery bags are also needed.
• A Note From The Finance Team:  Summer is here and vacations often take us away from Sunday worship.  Please remember that your church expenses do go on and your offereings are needed.
• Congratulations to our newest members:  Max Alexander Hoffman and Samuel Ellis Whisnant, both baptized through the Sacrament of Holy Baptism!
• Beth Eden Lutheran Men provided a Sunday evening meal for local homeless men, women and children last week.  Our thanks and appreciation to the Lutheran Men's Cooking Team of Reggie Keener, Max Hedrick, Bill Mitcham and Jack Devine.  Gail Cranford and Peggy Kurt, representing the Beth Eden Social Ministry Team, coordinate the meals.  We are looking for other Sunday School classes, groups and individuals who want to take a turn preparing a meal.  If interested, speak to Peggy or Gail or any member of the Social Ministry Team.
• Old St. Paul's ELCA 18th Annual BBQ Chicken Dinner...Saturday, August 7th from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.  $8.00 per plate for adults, $4.00 for kids (10 and under), $8.00 for cary outs.  All proceeds benefit Mission Trips for 2011.
• Higher Education Scholarship Application forms are available in the church office.  All forms must be filled out completely and returned to the office no later than Wednesday, August 25th.
